We had great conversations during yesterday’s Community Call, featuring community updates, and showcasing the successes and lessons learned of the OKW community and Data Awardees over the past year.
Special thanks to Dr. David Jaime Castillo Cornejo of Glyxon Biolabs for sharing his experiences from R1 of the OKW Data Awards mapping manufacturing and makerspaces in Latin America, and to the IoPA’s DevOps Engineer Antonio Anaya for demonstrating the growing manufacturing capabilities heatmap that he’s been working on!
And, CONGRATULATIONS again to the winners of the R2 OKW Data Awards! This is a reminder that you can learn more about the award team members, as well as their projects, on the OKW Community Channel:
- Mapping Manufacturing Capabilities Across Nigeria
- Mapping Machinery Capabilities in Cameroon - Yaounde and Doula
- Mapping Manufacturing Capabilities of Makerspaces in Greece
For those of you who were able to join us for the call, thank you for a lively conversation – we have many new ideas to work with! For those who were not able to attend, we have uploaded a recording of the call to the IoP Alliance YouTube channel and have additional information to help keep the conversation going:
- Recording from yesterday’s community call
- Slide Deck from the presentation
- Notes/highlights from the shared community pad (conversation, links and questions from Zoom chat are integrated into this document)
We intend to keep the conversation going in the Open Know-Where Community Channel, and welcome anyone who’s interested to jump on in. You are also invited to get in touch with any of the IoPA speakers from yesterday’s call (listed in speaking order):
