Thank you to the community members who were able to join today’s session! Session takeaways will be shared back to this consolidated community platform after Feb 21.
Whether you are a designer, procurer, practitioner, advocate, or enthusiast - ALL members of the open source hardware community are invited to this working session to help make open source hardware projects more discoverable!
As many of you know, one of the actions that emerged from the 2022 Gathering for Open Science Hardware (GOSH) was to create a searchable and indexable project directory for open science hardware (OSH) projects.
Over the last few months, several workshops, co-working sessions, and conversations dedicated to how to move this action forward have taken place, during which the overarching objectives of this action became clear: we are working toward connecting multiple preexisting directories of OSH projects, and we need to create a resource for advocacy and awareness raising around OSH.
During this open working session, we invite OSH community members to join the conversation, where our primary goal will be to operationalize the work necessary for the easy discoverability of open science/source hardware projects.
If you plan to attend, please RSVP directly to firstname.lastname@example.org
This working session will be facilitated by Allen Gunn (“Gunner”) - additional details will be shared prior to the session on Feb 12th.
