The 2nd iteration has two main goals: (1) to map and explore the existing landscape of mobility schemes for makers in Europe; (2) to offer a set of tools and data that represents a robust guidance and transferable methodology on embedding makers’ mobility schemes for value creation across Europe. @schutton is meeting with report co-author Olivia Kotsifa to discuss this work.

Open Hardware Makers: Open Hardware Makers is an online mentorship program. Inspired by Mozilla Open Leadership programs, it aims to support new hardware projects in their way of acquiring best practices, building welcoming and inclusive communities, and connecting to existing networks. They propose a series of fundamental principles and concrete practices that are applicable to any open hardware project. Participants will learn and apply these best practices in order to design and build an open hardware project in a collaborative way.
