Recent Release: Open Assistive Walking Device

In the vein of ongoing discussions within the GOSQAS group, a design for an open source walker, a collaborative design between Western University’s Joshua Pearce and student Anita So has been released. Failure load capacity testing/rates have been conducted and results are available in the recent publication:

There is recognition that testing was done in very specific conditions and that more is needed; next steps include the investigation of creating a more portable/collapsible model.
