Message from the organiser:

Dear all!

We’re thrilled to invite you to a community call about “Local Fashion Manufacturing” happening on August 17th at 5:00 PM CEST.

Meet our amazing speakers:

Noreen Blein, Co-founder of AFTER_FLOW CREATION, social sewing initiative based in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen

Barbora Sura, CEO & Co-founder of OURSHIFT, activist fashion brand that shifts the fashion industry into a more responsible one. Ourshift will be presented its new SS24 collection at Copenhagen Fashion Week on August 9th.

Sarah Prien, Fashion Connector & CEO of WeRAll / House4All, movement to design a better way of fashion based on local circular economy. Some of you might have heard Sarah speak at the Future of Making conference in March 2023.

They’ll share their insights and experiences on the future of local fashion production, from sustainability to community support. The talk is organised by Marcele, a new community of fashion actors supporting local emerging activities to change the way we make Fashion, and supported by the Internet of Production Alliance, a group of organisations and people working towards enabling distributed manufacturing. Thank you @AnnaSera . It will be an open discussion and your expertise would be very much appreciated. I am looking forward to have you on the call and get your opinions on the solutions our panelists and participants will share on their work towards a more local production of fashion. Fashion also need some new business models to make it more circular

What an amazing lineup! I hope I will be able to make it - I really enjoyed talking with Sarah Prien in Hamburg earlier this year at the Fab.City event. She’s doing some incredible work :fire:
